Privacy and local experiments

Text, tokens, payloads, experimental inputs, learning progress and notes are processed by the browser tools locally. Token Lab does not add a paid model API call to these exercises. Exported files remain under your control.

Storage

Progress, preferences and notes may be saved in browser storage on this device. Use the progress page to manage supported learning data, or clear this site's browser data to remove local storage.

Site analytics

The production site already uses Google Analytics to measure page visits. This means browsing is not completely tracking-free. The site's analytics implementation does not read experiment inputs and strips query strings from reported page locations. Hosting providers also process normal network requests needed to serve the site.

External resources

Opening paper, code, education or other external links contacts those providers and is subject to their privacy practices. Do not paste sensitive data into third-party services.
